Finishfit® UV Matt 1803

Finishfit® UV Matt 1803 is recommended for inline-/ofline coating in sheetfed offset/coating unit on UV inks. The varnish is also suitable for offline coating with dry, conventional printing inks in combination with a primer.

Finishfit® UV Matt 1803 was developed especially for maximum machine speed with minimum transfer times between printing and finishing.

Properties

• Solids content: 98-100%
• Slow drying
• Low gliding capacity
• Good rub resistance
• Can be used on paper >115g/m² and cardboard
• Hot foil embossable and glueable, application test required
• Not suitable for food packaging
• Viscosity: approx. 30 - 40 Sek. measured at 25 °C using a viscosity cup DIN 4mm

Application

• Stir well before use
• The properties depend on the printing substrate and the application quantity
• Curing of the UV varnish depends on the power of the UV lamps
• The printing inks should be solvent, alkali and spirit resistant according to DIN ISO 2836

Additives

• For the cleaning of flexo engraved rollers we recommend Extrafit Flexo Clean wb 2259
• For cleaning blankets and rollers we recommend Washfit UV Hybrid NVC 2267

Storage

• Protect from frost, heat and direct sunlight
• Storage only in original packaging at 10 – 30 °C (50 -86°F)
• Unopened and correctly stored Finishfit® UV Matt 1803 has a shelf life of 12 months from date of delivery
