Finishfit FCM 1860

Finishfit® WBC Gloss FCM 1860 (= FCM, suitable for food packaging printing), is recommended for inline coating in sheetfed offset/coating unit (chambered doctor blade). The varnish is also suitable for offline coating with dry, conventional printing inks. In both cases, it can be applied over a large area without water.

Finishfit® WBC Gloss FCM 1860 is suitable for the use on the side of a print product facing away from the foodstuff. The print product should meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1935/2004, Art. 3.

Finishfit® WBC Gloss FCM 1860 has been specially developed for maximum machine speed with minimum transfer times between printing and finishing.

  • Suitable for paper and cardboard
  • Standard viscosity 35 – 50 sec. measured at 20°C (68°F) with a viscosity cup DIN 4mm

Application

  • Stir well before using
  • The properties depend on the substrate and the application quantity
  • Powder spraying if required
  • Use only printing inks which meet all fastness standards according to DIN ISO 2836

Additives

  • For cleaning flexo engraved rollers we recommend Cleanfit Anilox 2259

Storage

  • Protect from frost, heat and direct sun light
  • Storage only in original packaging at 10 – 30 °C (50 – 86 °F)
  • Unopened and correctly stored, Finishfit® WBC Gloss FCM 1860 has a shelf life of 12 months from delivery date
