Finishfit WBC Gloss FCM 1859

Field of application

Finishfit gloss 1859 LM (=LM: suitable for LM packaging printing) is recommended for inline coating in sheetfed offset/coating unit (chambered doctor blade). The varnish is also suitable for off-line coating with dry, conventional inks. In both cases, it can be used over a large area without water.

Finishfit gloss 1859 LM is suitable for the use on the side of a print product facing away from the food stuff, which should meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1935/2004, Art. 3.

Finishfit gloss 1859 LM has been specially developed for maximum machine speed with minimum transfer times between printing and finishing.

• Heat resistant 170 - 180 °C (338 – 356 °F)
• Drying by IR and hot air
• Excellent rub resistance
• Very good wet-blocking resistance
• Fast drying
• Applicable on both sides
• Suitable for long and short delivery
• Can be used on paper and cardboard
• Standard viscosity 35 - 50 sec., measured at 20 °C (68 °F), DIN 4mm viscosity cup

Application

• Stir well before using
• The properties depend on the substrate and the application quantity
• Powder spraying if required

Additives

• For cleaning flexo engraved rollers we recommend Cleanfit Anilox 2259

Storage

• Protect from frost, heat and direct sun light
• Storage only in original packaging at 10 – 30 °C (50 – 86 °F)
• Unopened and correctly stored, the Finishfit gloss 1859 LM has a shelf life of 12 months from delivery date
