Extrafit Plate Gum Bake 2245

Field of Application

Extrafit Plate Gum Bake 2245 is a rubber coating recommended for all positive and negative working aluminium printing plates. It is mainly used for the application of printing plates to be burned-in.

• Fast inking even after longer press downtime

• Protects non-image areas during burning-in
• Stable up to 280°C (536° F)

Application

For manual application:
Remove water residue from the surface of the board. Apply Extrafit Plate Gum Bake 2245 thin-ly and evenly and allow to dry. After burning-in, wash off with clear water or positive plate de-veloper and apply a good quality finisher.
For machine application in the plate developer:
Dilute Extrafit Plate Gum Bake 2245 in a ratio of 50:50 with water.
