Joachim Erlach resigns from the Executive Board

Gunther Gerlach takes over the field of responsibility as Chairman of the Executive Board

Joachim Erlach resigned from the executive board of Epple Druckfarben AG, Neusäß/Germany, with the fulfillment of his contract on August 31, 2016 as al-ready announced. His field of responsibility will be taken over by Gunther Ger-lach as Chairman of the Executive Board.

With the fulfillment of his contract on August 31, 2016 Joachim Erlach resigned from the Executive Board of Epple Druckfarben AG, Neusäß/Germany. For more than 20 years he created a successful sales performance on national and international markets for the manufacturer of printing inks. On this challenging market he primed Epple in an excellent way for the future.

The supervisory board appointed Gunther Gerlach to the Chairman of the Executive Board; thereby Epple continues its generational change. Gunther Gerlach takes over with his experienced sales organization the field of responsibility of Joachim Erlach und therewith his operative tasks and customer contacts. Michael Berz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, actively attended the assignment of duties and thanks Joachim Erlach for his tireless commitment: “His path breaking decisions and immense market knowledge are decisive for Epple Druckfarben AG being market leader for printing inks in the sheetfed offset sector in Germany. In the name of the family shareholders and the Supervisory Board I thank Joachim Erlach for his successful and sustainable con-tribution to the company Epple.“

Gunther Gerlach is going to enhance his extended field of tasks in the international markets and the realignment of Epple Druckfarben AG: “On the one hand we have es-tablished our new brand identity and on the other we offer future-oriented products like BoFood Organic as well as our varnish portfolio. Therewith we consequently orient ourselves towards a system solution provider. Under this directive and with our strong market position we aim to expand further in the international market.”
