Epple at the “Mid drupa Meeting”, Grafisches Centrum Cuno

Printing is a cultural asset: this was rarely clearer than at the “Mid drupa Meeting” of the Graphic Center Cuno. The approximately 80 participants had the chance to explore Magdeburg historically and get to know the printing culture in the print house of Cuno in Calbe (Saale). At the event many leading industry suppliers presented their product innovations, which will be developed further until drupa 2020. Even Epple was invited. In a print demonstration the new ink PURe was printed, which dispenses completely with potentially toxic metal dryers or photo initiators. The experts from industry and publishing were quite surprised by the performance of the color system in terms of quality and finishing. The Epple team with CEO Gunter Gerlach, area sales manager Bernd Uhlig and application engineers answered numerous customer questions – PURe aroused interest.
