Epple Druckfarben wins Responsible Care Award

Recognition for a high sense of responsibility: On 12 July 2019, Epple was honored as the winner of the Responsible Care Competition 2019 of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI) Bayern. The ink system fulfilled in an exceptional way the competition motto “Our contribution to sustainability in the supply chain”. Epple won with the PURe® ink system as “best project in midmarket”. The product impressed with a pure recipe, without potentially potentially toxic metal dryers or photo initiators, and fast print production. Gunther Gerlach, Chairman of the Executive Board at Druckfarben AG: “For more than 25 years, we have been pioneers in the development of ecological printing inks. This knowledge pays off.” The expert jury praised: “The development of PURe is forward-looking, good for people and the environment and shows the innovative power of medium-sized companies.” As RC winner, PURe now enters the competition for the victory at the VCI federal level.
