Themen, die wir im Blick haben, sind u. a. Bio-Ökonomie, Kreislaufwirtschaft, der interdisziplinäre Wissenstransfer sowie das Nutzen von Synergieeffekten. Im Sinne des SDG 17 (Partnerschaften zur Erreichung der Ziele) bringt die Epple Druckfarben AG seine Expertise deshalb in nachhaltige Kooperationen ein. go2green: Die Epple Druckfarben AG ist seit 2021 Mitglied dieser Initiative für nachhaltige Druckfarben. Die Innovationsplattform, vom Regensburger Forschungsunternehmen HeiQ RAS initiiert, will die Zusammenarbeit von Mittelstand, Industrie und Forschung hinsichtlich ökologischer Lösungsansätze und Produktinnovatio­ nen fördern. Im Ergebnis soll eine Reduzierung von toxischen und schwerabbaubaren Stoffen stehen. Epple Druckfarben hat mit HeiQ RAS, den Experten moderner Nanotechnologie, bereits bei der Ent­ wicklung eines innovativen Lackprodukts zusammengearbeitet. The necessary sustainability required in the printing industry can only be achieved as part of an interdisciplinary exchange of experience and with the efforts of the entire supply chain. Topics that we are looking at includes organic economy, circular economy, interdisciplinary knowledge transfer and the benefit of synergy effects. In the spirit of the SDG 17 (partnerships for achieving these goals), Epple Druckfarben AG is contributing its expertise to sustainable cooperations. Chemie Cluster Bayern: Hier haben sich über 100 Unternehmen, Startups und Forschungseinrichtungen der chemischen Industrie vernetzt. Epple ist bereits seit 2020 Mitglied beim Chemie-Cluster mit dem Ziel, besser mit regionalen Partnern in Kontakt zu kom­ men. Sie vertreten dabei die Interessen und das Wissen aus der Druckbranche. Die Pandemiejahre haben nicht nur die Herausfor­ derungen der internationalen Lieferketten gezeigt, sondern auch im Sinne der Kreislaufwirtschaft sind kurze Transportwege ideal. Was für das eine Unternehmen ein Reststoff, kann für ein ande­ res Unternehmen ein wertvolles Rohmaterial sein. Entsprechende Kontakte zu finden ist aktuell sehr schwer, da es noch wenige Platt­ formen dafür gibt. Über den Chemie Cluster Bayern konnten schon einige sehr spannende Kontakte geknüpft werden. Nach Klärung diverser Formalien sind bereits einige Projektideen in eine vielver­ sprechende Testphase übergegangen. Epple will jedoch nicht nur Nutznießer des Netzwerks sein und freut, sich auch selbst als Part­ ner oder Berater für Analytik und Scale-Up agieren zu können. go2green: Epple Druckfarben AG has been member of this initiative for sustainable printing inks since 2021. Epple has been a member of this chemistry cluster since 2020 with the aim of greater interaction with regional partners and to represent the in- terests and knowledge of the printing industry. The pan- demic years have shown the challenges of the interna- tional supply chain, as well as the fact that short transport routes are ideal for a circular economy. One company’s waste material may be a valuable raw material for another company. Finding relevant contacts is currently extremely difficult as there are only a few platforms for this. However, the Chemistry Cluster Bavaria has already made it possible to make several very exciting contacts. After clarifying a few formalities, several project ideas have since entered a promising test phase. However, Epple not only wants to reap the benefits of the network, it is also looking forward to acting as a partner or consultant for analytics and scale- up processes.
