Cobalt salts are the centerpiece of oxidative drying in offset printing. However, they become more and more a point of criticism toxicologically.

For this reason the new innovative ink series Premium Cobano CF free of cobalt salts has been developed. It is mineral oil free and formulated on basis of renewable raw materials.

This series is a very intensive series with excellent rub resistance and brilliant gloss. In addition, it stands out for its high print contrast and high fountain solution tolerance. This series fulfills the requested criteria of most European Eco labels.

The series Cobano CF is characterized by: 

  • excellent runnability
  • very good cylinder rolling
  • excellent ink/water balance
  • very good rub resistance
  • suitable for IPA-free printing

The series Premium Cobano CF is suitable for perfecting and straight printing machines. It is in accordance with DIN ISO2846-1 and offers therefore optimal preconditions for meeting the requirements of DIN ISO 12647-2 ink-wise.
