Successful Premiere: Epple Druckfarben at Pack Print International in Bangkok

Epple Druckfarben presented themselves for the first time at the Pack Print International in Bangkok, in 2019 (18 to 21 September 2019). Epple and their sales partners Pulse Printing Products and PCO EASTGATE formed a One-Stop-Shop in the "German Pavillon". This cumulative printing competence meant visitors to the trade fair could be advised on web offset printing inks, varnishes and printing chemicals.

"The visitors got a clear impression of our comprehensive range of quality products, very quickly. The southeast Asian Printing houses were extremely interested to meet us. And that, even though our European-leading printing inks are relatively new on the market in Asia." Wilfried Bauder, Head of International Sales at Epple, spoke with the guests attending the fair and reports: "The southeast Asian market is strongly focused on the mass production of packaging. However, the companies are open to innovations at the same time. After all, environmentally friendly printing solutions, like migration harmless packaging printing inks as provided by Epple, are of growing importance here."

Heightening recognition in Asia

The cooperation between the three companies, Epple, Pulse Printing and PCO is bringing a new dimension to the graphics trade in the region regarding quality, safety and efficiency. "Our close cooperation is opening great perspectives to the Asian Printing houses: High quality consumable materials will be delivered to the southeast Asian market, quickly and reliably", explains Wilfried Bauder. Their presence at the small but effective trade fair in Bangkok, almost 20,000 guests visited the 325 exhibiting companies, meant that Epple could grow its level of recognition in the Asian marketplace. In 2018, Epple Druckfarben took shares in the printing chemical manufacturer PCO and now works together with their comprehensive Agent's network. This particularly applies to the Asian subsidiary, PCO EASTGATE, with locations in Malaysia and Thailand.
