Epple Experts Event: packaging specialists united in Hamburg

On January 25, 2018, the Epple Expert Event on the topic packaging printing took place in the “Zollenspieker Fährhaus”, Hamburg. North German industry experts informed themselves about current market developments. Dr. Annette Bruce, Managing Director of Creative Advantage GmbH, spoke about the “value of brands” in the B2B sector. Holger Ochel, Managing Director, FALCON concept solutions GmbH, introduced ways to implement digitization in the printing industry. Helmut Fröhlich, Product Manager Packaging at Epple, informed about EU regulations on printing inks and presented the migration-harmless series BoFood MU Next Generation, and BoFood Organic for the inside printing of food packaging. Dr. Carl Epple, Member of the Executive Board Development and Innovation, presented PURe. The ink series without metal dryers and photoinitiators provides answers to increasing sustainability requirements of end customers. The resources  are predominantly and the binding agents are completely based on renewable resources.
