Coveted printing award: Epple Druckfarben is “Manufacturer of the Year”

Who won the coveted awards in the “Printer of the Year 2022” contest? In the "Manufacturers" category, Epple Druckfarben AG took first place and thus receives the award from the trade magazine Druck & Medien. The readership had voted Epple Druckfarben and certified the BoFood® DFC system as „a solution that the printing industry really needs". The ink system is suitable for packaging printing and can be used in contact with food. According to an opinion, BoFood® DFC is innovative "because it opens up new packaging design areas and no compromises have to be made in the colour space." Gunther Gerlach, Chairman of the Executive Board at Epple Druckfarben AG: "This award is a great recognition from printing experts and customers and makes us proud. It shows that we meet customer needs in the development of sustainable printing inks and with our product portfolio". Second and third place in the "Manufacturer" category. the printing press manufacturer Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Speedmaster CX 104) and Koenig & Bauer AG (Rapida 145 and 164).
