EuPIA

EuPIA takes a proactive approach with regard to health, safety and the environment by providing information on the safe manufacturing, use and handling of printing inks and related products. It contributes to the reputation of an innovative, responsible and attractive industry.

EuPIA operates under the umbrella of CEPE, the European Council of the Paint, Printing Ink and Artists’ Colours industry. It provides a voluntary framework within which the EuPIA members and their partners in the value chain can collaborate to ensure a sustainable business. This framework comprises an organisational structure with committees, working groups and task forces that are tailored to the needs of EuPIA members.

EuPIA advises European and national institutions, supporting decisions based on accurate information and well-founded scientific findings.

EuPIA maintains and forges relationships with other international associations in the graphics and packaging industry.

Membership of EuPIA is granted based on membership of the national associations that represent the printing ink industry in the EU as well as in Norway and Switzerland. Membership of national associations automatically makes printing ink companies members of EuPIA.
